Meet the Rieke Family
Meet the family behind our excavation firm in Shawnee, KS. Our founder, John Rieke Jr. started in heavy construction as a teenager, running all types of heavy equipment beside his father. In his 20s, John Jr. had a strong work ethic, a loader, and a big dream, which led him to start Rieke Grading Inc. alongside his wife, Susan. John and Susan’s three sons John III, Aaron, and Cole have been operating equipment since they could walk and are running most of the operation today.
The whole Rieke Grading Inc. team is comprised of talented operators, truck drivers, and mechanics who we consider part of our family. We are so proud of the team we have and their work every day.
